EXCLUSIVE: Souths stars haul a mountain of booze onto $1,450-an-hour party superyacht for wild Mad Monday cruise on Sydney Harbour – but only one player turns up in fancy dress

Rabbitohs stars were all smiles as they boarded a $1,100-an-hour luxury super yacht with a mountain of booze ahead of they Mad Monday celebrations.
Players were seen lugging cartons of Vodka Cruisers and bottles of Jack Daniels onto super yacht ‘Prometheus’, which was docked at Pyrmont’s Jones Bay Wharf on Sunday night, for a cruise around Sydney Harbour.
The party night came after the side was bundled out of the finals by the Penrith Panthers on Saturday night, thumped 32-12 in the penultimate game of the season
After a rollercoaster season, the side came home strong to finish 7th, before massive wins over Cronulla and the Roosters booked them a preliminary final berth.

Cook also took a bottle of Jack Daniels and several packs of Red Bull onto the boat
At lot of players could be seen holding multiple cans of Canadian Club premix cans as they got ready for the harbour cruise
Unfortunately for the Redfern-based side, Penrith bundled them out for the second year in a row – leading them to get their Mad Monday celebrations underway early.
There were no outrageous costumes for the cruise unlike their wild celebrations last year – with almost every player opting for a plain t-shirt and jeans or shorts combination – besides larrikin forward, Jai Arrow.
Arrow has often found himself in the headlines for his activities outside of football in recent years.

The firebrand was wearing an outfit inspired by the Will Ferrell movie, a basketball comedy featuring a team called Flint Tropics.
Arrow wore the tight retro shorts and accompanying jersey, with matching sweatbands and socks. A Bunnings straw hat and cross-body purse completed the ensemble.

Prometheus can be hired through Sydney Harbour Escape for a minimum of four hours at $1,100 per hour from April to September.
The 77-foot yacht can fit a maximum of 36 passengers and features a number of saloons with stunning upholstery, as well as a large open deck – perfect to relax and leave a long NRL season behind you.

The Souths players not playing at the World Cup can enjoy a two month break before reuniting for the summer slog in December ahead of the 2023 season.
This will be Jason Demetriou’s second season in charge, with the NRL’s glamour team keen to go one better and make the Grand Final after finishing second and fourth in the last two years.
