Tom Cruise Offers A Behind-the-Scenes Look at the ‘Greatest Stunt in Cinema History’

Tom Cruise had to go through extensive preparations for stunts in Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One, particularly for the “greatest stunt in cinema history.”

The 60-year-old actor revealed what the stunt was and how long it took to prepare for this stunt.

“This is far and away the most dangerous thing we’ve ever attempted,” Tom said.

“We’ve been working on this for years. We’re going to shoot it in Norway. It will be a motorcycle jump off a cliff into a base jump,” he continued. “I’ve wanted to to do this since I was a little kid. It all comes down to one thing: the audience.”

After many suspenseful moments and successfully completing the stunt, director Christopher McQuarrie said, “the only thing that scares me more is what we have planned for Mission [Impossible] 8.”

Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning will be in in theatres July 2023.

Tom recently jumped out of a plane to surprise fans with the date of the streaming release of Top Gun: Maverick.
